  • How does OnLocation work?
    We are a mobile beauty & wellness business with a variety of Practitioners that offer a range of services. You book an appointment through our website, then we come to your home with all of our supplies, set up in the safe and clean environment that you provide, perform your service, then clean up and leave! Luxurious, easy and convenient service is our goal.
  • What services do you offer?
    We currently offer a range of mobile hair, massage, bridal services, and botox/filler injection services.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    We accept all forms of payment including: Visa, MasterCard, Debit, and AMEX. All invoices must be paid at the end of your service.
  • Do you have a salon or spa I can come to?
    No, our entire business is mobile and in our client's homes to be as conveinent as possible for you!
  • Do you have a travel fee?
    Travel fees only apply if you are located more than 20 kms outside of our district. Please consult us for more details.
  • Do you have a cancellation fee?
    Yes, we require 48 hours notice for any cancellation for any service we offer. Cancellations less than 48 hours notice will result in a $50 charge.
  • Will there be a mess left behind after my service?
    No mess will be left in your home by the time your appointment is done and the Practitioner is ready to leave. We will sanitize and clean up any mess made and your home will be just as clean as it was before we started the service.
  • How do I know what hair service to book in for?
    You may not know the technical name for the service that you are wanting, so please send us a message and we are happy to help! Your stylist can suggest what to book in for future appointments as well.
  • Do I need to provide anything special for when my mobile hair stylist arrives?
    We require the following from you: - A clean and tidy working environment - A chair - Open outlets - Clean kitchen sink (clean, rinsed down & no dishes) Your stylist will provide everything else necessary!
  • How do you rinse out the colour?
    We have an easy, comfortable way of washing your hair in the kitchen sink!
  • How far in advance must I book my hair appointment?
    We suggest booking your appointment 2-3 weeks in advance. Some of our stylists book 1-2 months in advance, so please be mindful of pre-booking to save your spot!
  • Is there a gratuity already included in the price of my hair service?
    Gratuity is not included in any service fee nor ever expected, but always appreciated. The average tipping percentage in the hair/beauty industry is 15%, 18% or 20%.
  • What if I'm unhappy with my hair?
    If you are unhappy with your service for a justifiable reason, you may re-book within 7 days for a re-do. Anytime after the 7 days will constitute a full charge.
  • What do you mean by in-home massage?
    The Massage Therapist will come to your home to perform the service
  • How should I set up my space before my Massage Therapist arrives?
    You will need an open and clear enough space for the massage table plus some space around the table for the Massage Therapist to walk around. Most clients have the massage take place in their living room or open bonus room.
  • What payment methods are accepted?
    We accept all forms of payment - Cash, Debit, Visa, MasterCard and AMEX. We also offer direct billing with most insurance companies, which will be processed the day before your appointment.
  • If I book a 60 minute session does that mean 60 minutes in the massage table?
    Yes, the time it takes for your Massage Therapist to set up and conduct an intake with you is not included in your session time.
  • Will the Massage Therapist provide sheets for the table?
    Yes, all sheets and materials necessary for the appointment are supplied by the Massage Therapist. If you have allergies or prefer to use your own, that is welcome too.
  • Can I have my dog or cat in the room with me during the massage appointment?
    Absolutely! As long as they are behaved and won't interrupt your massage.
  • What kind of music is played during the massage?
    Regular spa music (with instruments and no vocals) is what we prefer but we are open to suggestions if you have a preference.
  • Will I ever be completely exposed during the massage appointment session?
    No. Your Massage Therapist will leave the room when you disrobe. During the session, your Therapist only uncovers parts of the body (legs, arms, back) that are being worked on. We are professionals and ensure you will be professionally draped at all times.
  • What happens at the end of my massage appointment?
    At the end of your massage, the Massage Therapist will leave the room and allow you to get dressed. They will return when you are clothed and comfortable. If you haven't already paid, we will accept payment at this time, clean up quietly, and make our way out.
  • Is there a cancellation fee for the massage appointment?
    Yes, we have a 48 hour $50 Cancellation Fee to cover the Massage Therapist's lost wages.
  • What are your sanitization/hygiene measures?
    For general sanitization of products used, we always clean brushes and wash our hands before any application. Disposable applicators are used and a mask will be worn upon request.
  • How should I prepare for my make-up trial/application?
    Cleanse and moisturize your face. Please let the make-up artist know in advance if you have any allergies. Drink lots of water and please ensure we have a clean working space upon arrival.
  • Do you have a contract?
    Yes, we do! Our contract can be shown upon request and will be sent out to all make-up clients before confirming the appointment.
  • How long will the make-up trial take?
    Trials usually take 1-1.5 hours.
  • Do I tip my make-up or spray tan artist?
    We get this question all the time and there is no right or wrong answer. Tips are never expected but always appreciated! The average tip for a beauty artist is 15%, 18% or 20%.
  • Will my make-up last all night long?
    Absolutely! Our make-up application will last the full duration of your event. You will be prepped, primed and sealed with our quality products for your special event.
  • Will the spray tan make me turn orange?
    No! We can proudly say that the solution we use is a natural glow with NO orange undertones.
  • Do I have to be fully naked for the spray tan application?
    No - unless you want to be. You can wear whatever you are comfortable in and if that means no undergarments, that is acceptable for this service. We are professional spray tan artists who will ensure you will feel comfortable no matter what.
  • Will the spray tan make my hair colour change?
    No. Extra care will be taken to avoid your hair.
  • Will the spray tan application leave a mess in my house?
    No! You will be standing in a portable spray tan tent during the process. Apart from your new glow, there will be no trace of us being there.
  • How long will the spray tan last?
    Our spray tans last approximately 7-10 days. Just like with a real sun tan, the length of your spray tan depends on how you choose to maintain it. Be sure to follow the instructions provided during your appointment for the best results!
  • How long does will the spray tan appointment take?
    Please allow 30-40 minutes for your appointment. This includes set up, preparation, the actual spray tan, and the clean up as well as time to answer any questions you may have/go over the aftercare instructions.
  • How many spray tan sessions until I will see results?
    Results are immediate! You will be nice and tan after your first session. Spray tanning is not something that you need to work on for gradual results like you would tanning in the natural sun.
  • What clothes should I wear after my spray tan?
    Please wear loose, dark clothing after your tan. Flips flops and hair up is best.
  • How often should I get a spray tan?
    You can expect your spray tan to last for about 7-10 days. If you wish to maintain a consistent glow, then an application every 7-10 days would be recommended. Whereas some people simply opt to get a spray tan only for special occasions.
  • Are spray tans safe for my skin?
    Heck yes! Sunless tanning is the safest tan you will ever experience - DHA (the active ingredients) lays on the outermost layer of the skin and does not absorb into the blood stream and poses no possibility of toxicity.
